Internet marketing:
How to reach the most people through effective search engine marketing?
Your website may be selling the next best thing since sliced bread but if no one knows your product or service exists, you’re not getting any business. Most people would agree that Google is one of the most powerful search engines around. Essentially, your product or service should be summarized by a few keyword phrases that someone would potentially type into a search engine. Your content should incorporate those targeted keywords. Depending on your targeted keywords, getting listed in the first top ten results can be pretty competitive but the good news is that it is not rocket science and anyone can do it. It just takes a little elbow grease on your computer. You may have the greatest website in the world but if it is not reachable by a search engine, you will be the only one enjoying your website.
Search engines love content, especially free content. I can’t stress this enough. Don’t be afraid of giving shit away for free and use the text in the free content to bring the customers to your site from the various search engines, including Google. Just remember, when you are creating your content that you would like to share with the world, you should pick strategic keywords in your text that search engines spiders (or robots) will stumble upon.
One of the easiest methods to start getting recognized in the higher rankings of all of the widely-used search engines is keyword density in your content. A keyword is text that is found in the content of your web pages that a user might type in to find your site (i.e. “free stuff”).
Keyword density is the ratio of those strategic keywords found in the content of your domain versus the total numbers of words in your text (how many times can I find “free stuff” in my content.
This is ratio is one of the more important factors of search engine optimization. When you write your web page content, you should keep your audience in mind and use strategic keywords in your content that your potential customers may type in search engines. Each web page has the opportunity to use these strategic keywords in a different way but the important thing to keep in mind is to not overdo so you are abusing those keywords and your text is not smooth flowing. You will get punished by most search engines in terms of rankings (“blacklisted”).
There is software that you can find free on the web to help you choosing your strategic keywords in your content. I recommend Good Keywords at this link: http://www.goodkeywords.com/ to help you pick those strategic keywords to target in your text.
